We are now half way through our Jan/Feb 2010 Heart-Centered Networking Program. It has been a month of miracle after miracle. And, Malathy Drew, I’ve been told that I have a gift for listening to the inner promptings of Source and bringing forward 'scathingly brilliant ideas' for promoting That into the world.

One of my dreams as a child was to travel around the world and the thought of being a flight attendant seemed very glamorous. Many years later I had the opportunity to live my childhood dream when I was recruited by United Airlines. I had no idea that flying would turn out to be the fastest transformation program for me. It literally let me experience being a global citizen and prepared me to fly on my own wings.

During this time I was blessed to be able to study with some of the greatest transformational teachers and had the opportunity to apply what I had learned onboard. Speaking of applying spirituality in a practical way… There is nothing like being in a confined space for many hours with hundreds of people to activate people’s emotional triggers.

I had plenty of opportunities to practice forgiveness, releasing judgments, being in the moment, letting myself be seen and heard as I stepped into purser leadership role, experiencing the power of the choice of words I would use, staying calm in turbulent times and crisis, and fine tuning my ability to scan people’s energy and intentions.

During my healing science training we studied the many different ways we develop our defense mechanisms and the hidden gifts underneath them. When these are not owned in ourselves we project them onto others. Being a woman in a leadership role, you can imagine how anyone with unresolved issues with women and authority might project them onto me while I was in that uniform. And how I had the opportunity to release any of the ways I kept myself small as I was called on to stand in my power. During all of this 9/11 happened and this was a great catalyst for reclaiming my power and trusting I am always in the right place at the right time.

You are a powerful creator. Your thoughts become things. When you think a thought often enough it becomes a belief, the filter through which you experience life. By the time we are adults we have taken on many beliefs from our parents, teachers and environment without ever questioning their validity for us now. Without awareness it is impossible to change anything. You can only let go of something when you realize you’ve been holding on.

I knew I wouldn’t fly forever as my inner call to pursue my healing and coaching fulltime was getting stronger. However, before I was able to make that transition there were a few more fears to release. I had been holding on to the supposed security of a job and travel benefits, and had many reasons why it was not quite time yet to let go and follow and trust the call of my heart.

Facing my fears, releasing them and trusting my inner guidance to align myself with my soul’s destiny… stepping into the unknown and taking a stand for what I believed in…

Living in trust and being open to miracles unfolding… being supported and embracing my Divinity…. All of this later revealed itself in the colors of my name and birthdate!

Little did I know at the time that these were all prerequisites for the work I am doing today and that this would lead me to Whispering Energy.
